Severson Dells Nature Center has inspired environmental education and outdoor exploration for 50 years, bringing people together through hands-on learning, guided hikes, and a shared love of nature. Mary Ann Laudicina, currently serves as a Board Trustee, continuing to deepen her impact at Rockford University. The Laudicina Preston Group was a proud sponsor of this event that supports Rockford University students and key institutional priorities.

Mary Ann and Megan Preston attended the gala with their spouses reflecting their ongoing commitment to strengthening the community through leadership, engagement, and philanthropy.

During Baird Gives Back Week, the Laudicina Preston Group volunteered with the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse, assisting in planting and maintaining Kane Street Community Garden. Where 30,000 pounds of fresh vegetable are harvested each year. The Hunger Task Force provides a safety net of emergency food to a network of local food pantries and meal programs.

Giving back to our community is a priority for our team, and we’re proud to support organizations that provide essential resources to those in need.

Our team partnered with Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations to support an electronic recycling station, helping ensure responsible disposal of outdated devices including computers, televisions, and cell phones. This effort promoted sustainability while providing the community with a convenient way to recycle electronics and reduce environmental impact.

In 2026, Baird's Paul Purcell "Kids Win" Annual Grant donated $2 million to 38 organizations focusing on the youth throughout the country. Our team proudly supported the Freedom Honor Flight, assisting veterans and their families once they returned from their trip to Washinton D.C. It was an honor to help create a welcoming and meaningful arrival for those who have served our country and the organization who creates this amazing experience.

It warms our heart to take part in Rotary Lights by hosting the s’mores station. It was a joy to connect with attendees, serve sweet treats, and gather around a fire to celebrate the season.
